Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team at Walton Correctional Institution in Defuniak Springs, FL. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, under supervision of RNs and medical staff, addressing physical and mental health needs.

Florida LPN license or ability to obtain, current CPR, and the ability to obtain security clearance are required. Night/weekend shifts offered with comprehensive benefits and retirement plan included.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Florida (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR certification
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
• Deliver care in a correctional setting ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
