This full-time role supports providers and the nursing team, with pre-visit planning, rooming patients, taking vitals, EMR usage, injections, vaccine coordination, and phlebotomy.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN license (KS/MO), BLS, ACLS preferred; neurology or clinic/inpatient experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in KS or MO.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Neurology clinic experience is a plus.
• Previous clinic or inpatient experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and nursing team in delivering professional medical care.
• Pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, EMR use, document scanning.
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
• Telephone screening per protocols, phlebotomy, assist with procedures.
• Delegate tasks to UAP per scope of practice.
• May cover Medical Assistant duties as needed.
• Maintain professional demeanor and exceptional customer service.

We are hiring an LPN for our Neurology Clinic at our Saint Luke's Plaza location!

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm
• KS & MO LPN License required
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Previous Neurology experience is a plus
• Previous clinic or inpatient experience is a plus

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's Neurology offers the region's most respected neurologists who work together to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of neurological conditions. In addition to providing stroke coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our team includes sub specialists in the fields of Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, sleep disorders, migraines, Parkinson's disease, and other movement disorders.

• Position responsible for assisting providers and the nursing team in the delivery of professional medical care.
• Specific duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, utilizing the EMR system, scanning and downloading of documents, administering injections, vaccine coordination, telephone screening (with protocols), phlebotomy, assist with procedures (as needed), and duties as assigned based on respective clinic need.
• Incumbent in position must have excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously.

• Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.
• May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.
