Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Medicine Telemetry Unit on days. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for adults 18 and older.

Qualifying LPNs must hold an active license in their state, have BLS within 90 days of hire, and preferably hospital bedside experience.

Responsibilities

LPN manages responsibilities of workload with accuracy, provides excellence in customer service, performs testing, medication administration and the implementation of nursing interventions and care plans to support a holistic approach to patient care. The LPN serves as patient advocate in the prevention of illness or disease. The work of the LPN may be performed in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or private homes. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
