Tennova Healthcare- LaFollette Medical Center is seeking an LPN to deliver essential nursing care in our clinic setting under supervision. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, perform diagnostic testing, and document patient information in the EMR while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.

You will collaborate with healthcare providers, educate patients, and maintain safety and compliance in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in clinical or outpatient setting required.
• LPN/LVN licensure required and maintained in state.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient intake, documents symptoms, medical history, medications, and vitals.
• Administers medications via oral, inhalation, or injections.
• Conducts diagnostic testing (EKGs, basic labs) with proper documentation.
• Responds to portal messages, calls, and test results to ensure timely follow-up.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and prevention.
• Collaborates with providers to support patient care plans.
• Maintains a clean, safe clinic environment and proper hazardous materials disposal.
• Monitors and updates logs (narcotics, fridge temps, vaccines, expirations).
• Acts as liaison between patients, providers, and families with HIPAA compliance.
