Job summary

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. in Manteno seeks L.P.N. with experience in Behavioral Health Care. Responsibilities

• Process patients from assessment to discharge in treatment programming.
• Dispense medication under prescribed procedures.
• Monitor appropriateness of medication dosages.
• Document physical and mental health findings of patients.
• Travel if needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in medications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.


• Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by Family Guidance Centers, Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, Clinical Sustainability Assessment Tool, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.


• Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and other medication dosages.


• Monitors the physical and mental health well-being of patients and documents findings.


• Must be available to travel if needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: One year experience in Behavioral Health Care or hospital setting. Good communication skills. General basic nursing and medical terminology knowledge. Knowledge of substance abuse pathology. Knowledge of all state and federal rules and regulations.


• Licenses/Certifications: L.P.N. registered in the State of Illinois and CPR certification required.

Schedule & Details

• Schedule: Five days a week; rotating (6:00a - 2:30p)


• Start Date: ASAP


• Work Location: 333 W. Evergreen St., Manteno


• Pay Rate: $30.00


• Drug Free Environment (including THC and/or CBD). DCFS clearance required.
