MORE ABOUT THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care tasks.
• Providing nursing functions as directed, including vital signs, recording observations, and reporting changes.
• Preparing residents for meals, assisting with feeding, and recording intake.
• Maintaining resident confidentiality and dignity, reporting complaints or incidents promptly.
• Utilizing nursing skills to implement preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care.
• Performing delegated nursing functions following established protocols.
• Assisting with data collection, care planning, medication administration, and patient education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

• Graduate of an approved Nursing program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC.
• Licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
