Job summary

Sisters of Mercy of the Americas is seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN for a regular part-time position (up to 29 hours biweekly 48 hr). The role provides direct care to the Sisters and supervises caregivers during shifts.

The position offers a pay range of $24.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience) with a sign-on bonus available. Flexibility with per diem scheduling and a mission-centered environment are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan and physician orders.
• Supervise and support caregivers during assigned shifts.
• Complete assessments, vitals, documentation, and medication administration.
• Respond promptly to Sisters’ needs and any changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; follow all safety and infection-control protocols.
• Communicate clearly with the DON/RCA, team members, and Sisters.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, incident reporting, and chart updates.
