Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Resident - LPN Residency Program

Join to apply for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Resident - LPN Residency Program role at Baxter Health.

This program is designed for LPN graduates and LPNs with six (6) months or less of experience. LPNs with less than one year of acute care experience may be eligible. Specific criteria must be met.

Program Details
  • Application being accepted! Cohort #24, Start Dates: December 30, 2024, January 6, and 20, 2025.
  • Sign On Bonus: $2,500 per Agreement!*
  • Participating Units/Departments include Behavior Based Units (3S & 6S), Medical Unit (3W), Ortho/Surgical Unit (5S), Inpatient Rehabilitation (3E), Home Health, Behavioral Health, and Emergency Department.

The Baxter Health Residency provides an onboarding experience to transition newly graduated licensed practical nurses from students to safe, competent professionals. The program includes evidence-based curriculum, acute care focused learning activities, and guided clinical experiences with a preceptor.

Note: The Residency itself takes place on Day Shift. Once the Immersion Period of the Residency is completed, you will then work the shift for which you were hired, either day or night shift.

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Practical Nurse. This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Note: The Sign On Bonus is available per Sign On Agreement Requirements.
