Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part Time – Sewickley, PA

Verland is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Main Campus in Sewickley, PA. In this role, you will provide Exceptional Care to individuals that call Verland their home.

Shift Availability

Part Time – 24 hours per week, 6 am – 6:30 pm (Saturday & Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess the physical status of individuals daily and report any unusual behavior or condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with physician visits as assigned.
• Document care given to individuals on a daily, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and implement health care plans for assigned individuals as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attend staffing and ITR reviews.
• Participate in and attend Nursing Department committee meetings as assigned.
• LPN will not insert nasogastric tubes or obtain physicians' orders.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum Training and Experience

• Graduate of a recognized one-year practical nurse program and hold a current Pennsylvania registration.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care facility or related field (rehabilitation, extended care facility).
• All required clearances and valid driver's license.
