Job summary

Bryant Health and Rehab in Georgia is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care patients. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LPN will assess, plan, and implement individualized care, perform routine patient care tasks, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered team environment to meet customer needs.

Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred, and licensing requirements must be current.

Qualifications

• The LPN must be a graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs various customer care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of customers.

Requirements:

1. The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
2. Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing
