Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN - Part-Time All Shifts

Join us at North Shore Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN - Part-Time All Shifts.

Position Overview: Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager / DON, the LPN performs as a licensed caregiver, responsible for assigned residents/patients during a shift. Responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the care plan, managing the environment for safety, supervising nursing assistants, and following all policies and procedures according to the State Nurse Practice Act.

Work Schedule: Minimum of 8 shifts and up to 10 shifts per month, including summer and winter holidays.

Requirements:
  • Licensed in the State as an LPN
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to operate necessary supplies and equipment
  • Ability to calculate drug dosages
  • Meet all health requirements by law
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills with aptitude to learn company applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in fast-paced environments
  • Post-acute care experience (preferred)
