Overview

We are seeking dynamic and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Team!

About us: Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. Our facility, The Recovery Village Kansas City, offers a continuum of care including medical detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs. Located in Raytown, Missouri, about 30 minutes from Kansas City International Airport, we are committed to making a difference in our community.

Responsibilities

• Resolve pending issues from the previous shift, e.g., labs, treatments, admissions/discharges, data for continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Manage medication storage, returns, destruction, and pharmacy communication.
• Order supplies and manage inventory.
• Monitor lab orders, outside consults, and medical transfers.
• Coordinate admission workflows and ensure proper labeling of samples.
• Perform administrative duties such as scanning documents and assisting with scheduling.
• Audit admissions and discharges, and ensure nursing procedures are properly completed.

Shift: PRN Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a

Pay: Minimum USD $28.00/hr, with a $3.00 night shift differential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Practical Nursing certification; higher education preferred.
• Two years' experience as an LPN preferred, especially in behavioral health.
• Licensed to practice in Missouri.
