Shift: Varies; 8-36 hours weekly
Location: Float; Rome, Cedartown, Calhoun, Adairsville, and Chatsworth areas; All specialties (Coverage areas will be determined based on home location)
The role you’ll contribute:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direct supervision of the physician or mid-level licensed provider, assisting with safe and effective patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols of Gordon Physicians Group, Gordon Hospital, and Adventist Health Systems' goals and objectives. Responsibilities include routine back-office functions such as maintaining patient flow, exam room preparation and turnover, recording medical history, and assisting physicians and/or nurses. Additional duties include managing provider/nurse messages, appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and ensuring clinical compliance with sterilization, medication oversight, OSHA, and other standards.
