Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include gathering and reporting data, executing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of employment. BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing preferred but not required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in emergency or critical care settings
  • Comfort with vents, trachs, PICC lines, etc.
  • Two years of direct patient care experience
