Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Fairfax Ambulatory Care Center in Fairfax, Virginia, to support primary care and immunizations. This full-time, weekdays position offers a 0700-1530 or 8:30-17:00 schedule, a compensation around $28.19 per hour plus fringe benefits, and a full benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, vision, PTO and insurance.

Key duties include observing patients after vaccines, preparing medications, collecting urine

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) School.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Valid and current license from any state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assess patients after initial dose administration.
• Meticulously prepare medications.
• Collect urine specimens per state regulatory requirements and record urinalysis results in patient charts.
• Complete patient paperwork with care and precision.
• Perform daily medication stock reconciliation and inventory management.

Monday - Friday schedule, no weekends or holidays off. Shift options: 0700-1530 or 8:30am-1700. Competitive compensation estimated at $28.19 per hour plus fringe benefits.
