Job summary

VCU Health seeks an LPN to integrate technical skills with patient care, supporting the health care team to prevent illness, promote wellness, and provide comfort. The role also offers guidance, education, and early leadership at the unit level.

You will deliver and document direct, age-specific care under medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan, safely administering medications and following physician/licensed orders.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in Virginia (or eligible) required.
• Current BLS or equivalent certification.
• Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing.
• Experience as an LPN in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate technical skills with theoretical knowledge to meet patient and family needs.
