VCU Health System Authority is seeking an LPN at our Plastic Surgery Clinic in Richmond, VA. You will provide direct, age-appropriate care within an integrated care plan, document thoroughly, and support the care team in a fast-paced clinic setting.

You will administer prescribed meds, verify orders for compatibility, and participate in ongoing patient comfort and education. LPN licensure in Virginia or eligibility is required; BLS is preferred.

Our Plastic Surgery Clinic at Stony Point 9109 provides care to a large population of adult oncology patients who require surgical and reconstructive service. We are mainly clinical but have an increasing number of in-office procedures and minor procedures performed in the clinic setting. We are also a growing cosmetic surgery practice! Our team is small and works cohesively with our providers to provide exceptional care to our patients no matter their needs. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7a 3:30 p and our team members enjoy free onsite parking at our Stony Point campus.

The LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.

The LPN job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This role safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

Licensure, certification or registration varies depending on the incumbent`s employment background and transitional assignment; LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible Licensure,

Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

Current LPN Licensure in Virginia AHA BLS Certification or equivalent

Experience REQUIRED:

Varies based on transitional duty assignment.

Experience PREFERRED:

Experience as a LPN in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice

Education/training REQUIRED:

Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing

Compensation Range

$24.00 - $37.50 Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
