Maplewood at Newtown, located at 166 Mt Pleasant Road, Newtown, CT 06470, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for part-time/per diem shifts. The role supports the Resident Services Director in delivering nursing services with direct resident care, medication administration, and wellness counseling.

Shifts include Tuesday 3pm-11pm and Wednesday & Thursday 8am-1pm. Candidates must be currently licensed as an LPN in Connecticut and comfortable working with older adults in a fast-paced, care-focused

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
• Two years full time or full time equivalent clinical experience
• Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
