Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to adult day care participants and act as a resource for caregivers, staff, and participants.
  • Assess health and dietary needs upon admission and regularly review and update these assessments.
  • Establish and review health and nutrition goals for each participant.
  • Coordinate with medical providers and funding sources for the adult day care.
  • Administer first aid, refer cases to physicians, and determine the need for emergency intervention.
  • Conduct staff training in first aid, CPR, and related areas.
  • Assist with health education and treatments based on physician orders.
  • Maintain clinical records, assist with accident investigations, and participate in case conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with food program standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise nursing students, program participants, and staff during assessments.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ohio; RN preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience, familiarity with Worker's Compensation laws.

Physical Demands
