Primary Responsibilities

• Administer medications
• Provide direct care and services to residents
• Conduct teaching and wellness counseling
• Promote health and wellness
• Assist with assessments under RN supervision
• Support residents and their families
• Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants
• Train staff and audit care quality
• Complete required monthly in-service training

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state
• At least two years of full-time clinical experience
• Interest or experience working with older adults
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (pushing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships
• Good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases
