Job summary

Allied Physicians Group LLC is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians in our Allergy Division across Brentwood, Hicksville, and Oceanside. You will screen patients, take histories and vitals, assist during exams, and educate patients on allergy care in a busy outpatient setting.

You will administer injections, help with skin testing, and document in EMRs, while coordinating follow-up care and ensuring patient safety in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in NY state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of allergy, asthma, and immunology care (preferred).
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist physicians during examinations and allergy-related procedures.
• Administer allergy injections and monitor for reactions.
• Perform or assist with allergy testing, such as skin prick testing.
• Educate patients on allergy management, medications, and treatment plans.
• Document patient information in EMRs.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care.
• Refill medications and communicate with pharmacies as directed by providers.

What You’ll Do

Compensation:$30-$33/ph

The compensation range listed represents Allied Physicians Group’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of posting. The specific compensation offered will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
