Job summary

Responsibilities

• Call in prescriptions and refills as directed by prescribers.
• Manage patient assistance for all medications.
• Complete prior authorizations for Medicare/Medicaid/insurances.
• Answer calls and emails regarding medications and notify prescribers of adverse reactions.
• Handle records and discharge summaries as requested by prescribers.
• Perform metabolic screenings and TB testing as needed.

• Handle request for records/discharge summaries as requested by Prescriber.
• Perform metabolic screenings for person(s) served.
• Administer Tuberculosis (TB) testing for staff.
• Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.
• Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
• Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
