.9 FTE - Day Shifts - Neurology

CMA Starting Pay - $20.17 to $25.21 (Based on Experience)

LPN Starting Pay - $23.38 to $32.15 (Based on Experience)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
  • Current Minnesota LPN license required
  • BLS certification
  • Previous clinic experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts focused assessments of patients' health status, collecting and comparing data to normal findings and current health status.
  • Reports changes in health status and responses to interventions to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Participates in developing and modifying care plans with healthcare team members.
  • Implements interventions within the nursing plan of care or as delegated by a registered nurse.
  • Provides safe and effective nursing care, promotes a therapeutic environment, and advocates for patients.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare providers and provides health information to patients.
  • Evaluates responses to interventions and maintains competencies.
  • Manages information per regulations and communicates effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Medical Assistant (MA):

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Medical Assistant program
  • Certification (CMA or RMA)
  • BLS certification
  • Previous clinic experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in patient care under supervision, including greeting, collecting data, and assisting with procedures.
  • Prepares and administers medications and vaccines, documents procedures, and manages clinical supplies.
  • Performs clinical tasks such as specimen collection, assisting with x-rays and procedures, and patient education.
  • Ensures smooth clinical operations and maintains compliance with regulations.
