We are hiring for either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA/CMA/RMA). The position is 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday, hours between 7:30am and 5:15pm.

Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): To provide family-centered nursing care, advise on health maintenance and disease prevention, and assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, tailored to their developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical needs. Duties are aligned with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and Nurse Practice Act.

Medical Assistant (MA/CMA/RMA): To support clinical operations through direct patient care and administrative duties, supporting providers and nurses, and ensuring efficient clinic flow.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wages vary by role: LPN from $24.85 to $34.48 (median $29.66); MA from $21.00 to $29.53 (median $24.61), or $21.00 to $31.30 if certified (median $26.09). Gillette offers a benefits package including retirement match, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and health benefits for ≥0.5 FTE.

Core Responsibilities
As an LPN:
  • Deliver and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
  • Develop and modify care plans collaboratively.
  • Implement interventions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Prioritize effectively and communicate nursing data clearly.
As an MA/CMA/RMA:
  • Support provider during patient visits, including data collection and assisting with procedures.
  • Accurately document in electronic medical records.
  • Maintain clinic flow, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications
For LPN:
  • Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
  • Completion of a practical nursing program.
  • CPR-BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
For MA/CMA/RMA:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification as CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT), or obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
