NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our correctional healthcare team in Grand Junction, Colorado, at the Mesa County Jail.
This PRN position supports our mission to provide high-quality care in a secure environment and offers meaningful clinical experiences for new graduates. Responsibilities include patient assessments, vital signs, wound care, medication administration, and medical records management.
NaphCare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of medical professionals in Grand Junction, Colorado, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Mesa County Jail. We currently have a PRN position available!
Pay rates range from $39.60-$41.80 per hour plusa $6.00 shift differential for night shifts.
As a Correctional Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.

As an LPN, you will play a critical role in our continued mission to provide quality healthcare that protects the rights, dignity, and health of our unique patient population. Duties and responsibilities may include and not be limited to:
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
