Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 seeks a licensed practical nurse to assist the physician in clinical care of all patients, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. You will support day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Required is Georgia LPN or multistate license and CPR certification, with 2+ years of related experience in primary or specialty care; oncology experience is preferred. BLS within 1 month may be noted.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients.
• Assist in day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Job description

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience in primary care, specialty care, surgical, or infusion required as a LPN. Oncology experience preferred.
• Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
• Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
• Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
• Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs required.
• NOTE: BLS within 1 month
