Job summary

Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the medical team at the Morgan County Jail in Alabama. This night-shift role runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, offering stability in a structured correctional health care setting.

You’ll provide direct nursing care, administer medications, complete assessments, maintain medical records, and collaborate with RNs and providers while following facility security procedures.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in correctional healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the facility.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete assessments, documentation, and nursing interventions.
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
