Position Details

• Location: Madison County Detention Center
• Position: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift Rotation, 5:45 PM - 6:30 AM, with alternating weekends
• Benefits: Sign-on & Retention Bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress; chart results; establish nursing plans; adhere to State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and coordinate with physicians/providers
• Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations
• Implement established treatment plans
• Perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking
