Base pay range: $32.00/hr - $36.00/hr

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the LPN role is to provide quality nursing care to residents, supervise nursing assistants, and coordinate care with other disciplines. Responsibilities are in accordance with Federal and State Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission/discharge processes
• Complete accident/incident reports and follow-up investigations
• Transcribe physician orders, document resident information, notify physicians and families as needed, and review medication orders for accuracy
• Learn and adapt to the Electronic Medical Record system
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered
• Participate in the Care Planning Process and care conferences
• Develop good rapport with all disciplines to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Participate in continuing education programs
• Communicate tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies
