Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking an LPN to provide high-quality direct routine care under nursing leadership in our Minnesota facilities. You will participate in the Plan of Care development, implement delegated interventions, and monitor resident health data for changes.

You will also supervise unlicensed staff and support residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Qualified candidates hold a Minnesota Practical Nurse license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Current Minnesota Practical Nurse license is required.

LPN- Licensed Practical Nurse

Sign on bonus:

Full time $4,500

Part time $2,225

Position Summary:

The LPN is responsible for providing residents with the highest quality of direct routine care, under the supervision of nursing leadership. The LPN participates in the development and modification of the tenant Plan of Care, implementing interventions that are delegated, ordered, or prescribed by the RN or physician. The LPN collects resident health data and compares to normal findings and the established current health status, reporting changes and/or responses to interventions in an ongoing manner to the RN. The LPN assigns and monitors nursing tasks or activities of unlicensed nursing staff through, assessment of their knowledge, skill, and capabilities, clarifying expectations, addressing behaviors, or escalating. All nursing activities are performed to support residents in achieving and maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse


• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care
