Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility undergoing a major renovation under new management, focused on rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. We seek an LPN to support unit leadership and deliver high-quality care to residents.

New grads welcome. We offer up to $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employees, excellent benefits including health coverage starting the first of the month after hire, and a supportive team dedicated to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Current NY LPN license in good standing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and cooperate with staff.
• Covid-19 vaccination encouraged but not mandated.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond to resident/family needs.
• Use nursing process and judgment to deliver direct resident care.
• Administer standard nursing treatments and medications.
• Collaborate with the care team to update Nursing Care Plan.
• Monitor and document vitals and residents’ responses.
• Oversee CNA assignments and activities.

With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being. • Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, provide daily support to the unit leadership & respond appropriately/timely to resident/family needs within the LPN scope of practice
• Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN will use nursing process, judgment, & skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care & make decisions promoting the safety/quality direct care to resident’s
• Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN perform/administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications & observes resident for desired or unwanted effects
• Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN communicate & collaborate with appropriate member(s) within the care team to revise/update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings including lab/test results, incidents, &/or concerns
• Monitor & document vitals, treatments administered, & residents’ responses
• Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, & evaluate delivery of care of resident CNA assignments & activities, considering the category of needs & competency of personnel

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
• Current license in good standing in New York as an Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN
• Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, & compassionate care
• Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring & enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & optimal resident health
• Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, & sometimes challenging residents
• Have excellent communication, customer service, & organization skills
• Work well under pressure & willing to work harmoniously with all staff
• Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC
