The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a key member of the interdisciplinary team, delivering patient-centered rehabilitation nursing services to individuals with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses to attain and maintain maximum function. The rehabilitation LPN assists patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle while providing a therapeutic environment for clients and their families. The LPN designs and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and promotes physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health.
The LPN must be compassionate towards patients and family members, able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and work effectively within a team of medical professionals. The LPN performs roles as Teacher, Caregiver, Collaborator, and Client Advocate. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will add "Life to Years" for the patients you serve.
This position has a hiring range of $23.33 - $37.82 per hour.
