Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Sterling Heights is hiring a PRN LPN

Position Overview

This LPN position is a staff role with direct care and supervisory responsibilities for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN supervises nursing personnel to deliver care, coordinates care delivery within scope of practice, and ensures residents' needs are met according to professional standards, physician orders, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, testing equipment
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience; gerontological nursing experience, including dementia care, preferred
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN license in the state
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Full use of motor skills for treatments, dressing, medication supervision, and documentation
