Position Overview

This LPN position involves direct care responsibilities and supervisory duties for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN supervises nursing personnel to ensure quality care delivery, coordinating within their scope of practice to meet residents' needs according to professional standards, physician orders, facility policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in gerontological nursing including dementia care
• Valid and current LPN/LVN state license

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods. Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must have full use of upper and lower extremities for treatments, dressing changes, medication supervision, and documentation.
