Job Description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Sterling Heights is hiring a full-time LPN

This LPN position involves both direct care and supervisory responsibilities for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN supervises nursing staff to deliver care and coordinates care delivery within scope of practice, ensuring residents' needs are met according to professional standards, physician orders, facility policies, and relevant regulations.

Job Requirements
  • Skills: Ability to read thermometers, charts, testing equipment; must communicate effectively in English
  • Experience: 2-3 years clinical experience; gerontological nursing experience including dementia preferred
  • License: Valid and current LPN/LVN license
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
  • Use of gross and fine motor skills for treatments, dressing, medication supervision, and documentation
