Job description

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Anderson Township is hiring a part-time LPN with a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.

This LPN position involves both direct care and supervisory responsibilities for caregivers. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating care delivery within their scope of practice, and ensuring residents' needs are met according to professional standards, physician orders, facility policies, and relevant regulations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in gerontological nursing including dementia care
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
  • Full use of upper and lower extremity motor skills for treatments, dressing changes, medication supervision, and documentation
