Job Type: PRN | Days

Schedule: 2 shifts required every 2 weeks, rotating weekends

More About Our Team

Our Medical‑Surgical Post‑Surgical & Overflow Unit is a 32‑bed inpatient unit specializing in the care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit also supports medical‑surgical overflow as needed. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.

• Utilize your specialized plan‑of‑care intervention and serve as a patient‑care innovator.
• Shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting‑edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify medical surgical needs.
• Perform post‑operative assessments.
• Perform wound care.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Assist in multidisciplinary collaborations.
