Confidential is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a nights shift in Lewiston, ME. The Med-Surg department requires a capable professional to provide bedside care, monitor patients, and collaborate closely with RNs and physicians.

Applicants should hold an LPN/LVN license, have IV and BW certifications, and current BLS. A minimum of one year in Med-Surg is expected to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• IV and BW certifications required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
