Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an LPN to provide bedside care in a Med-Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment runs for 12 weeks with night shifts available.

Qualified candidates will hold a current LPN/LVN license, have 1 year Med-Surg experience, and possess IV and BW certifications along with current BLS certification. EMR/EHR documentation is required and collaboration with RNs and physicians is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, infection control and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.
