Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include data collection and reporting, executing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures tailored to the patient’s age and needs, in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of employment. Current BLS certification.
• Preferred: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Additional preferred qualifications include prior experience in emergency or critical care, familiarity with vents/trachs/PICC lines, and two years of direct patient care experience.
