Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN, including data gathering, reporting, executing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures suited to the patient's age and needs, following PAM Health policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of employment. BLS certification required.
• Preferred: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Additional preferred qualifications include experience in emergency or critical care, familiarity with vents/trachs/PICC lines, and at least 2 years of direct patient care experience.
