Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Stoughton is seeking a PRN Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for 12-hour night shifts. The role offers new increased rates, flexible scheduling opportunities, and a supportive leadership team.

The LVN/LPN will provide nursing care under an RN, collect and report data, and carry out orders with age-appropriate procedures. Certification and licensure in the state are required, with inpatient med-surg experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year inpatient med-surg experience preferred but not required.
• Preference for emergency/critical care exposure and vents/trach/PICC lines may help.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care in line with PAM Health policies.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification required.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

A few things that aren't required, but we would prefer :

• Having prior experience in emergency or critical care environments


• A higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.


• Having 2 years of experience in direct patient care

USD $38.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
