Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tavares is currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our inpatient nursing team.

The LPN/LVN will deliver nursing care under the supervision of an RN, perform data collection, follow orders, and execute therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate, policy-driven environment. Florida licensure and BLS are required, with IV certification within 90 days where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state of Florida or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN on the unit.
• Collect and report patient data and carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures appropriate to the patient’s age and population in accordance with PAM Health policies.

We are currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
