Hendricks Community Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Long Term Care team in Hendricks, MN. This PRN role offers weekend and holiday rotation with wage starting at $27.10 per hour, dependent on experience.

The position requires maintaining resident care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with medical staff. Qualified candidates will be licensed as an LPN in Minnesota, with geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an LPN in Minnesota.
• Previous geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs to ensure quality care.
• Obtains, administers and monitors medications per facility policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Previous experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
• Responsible for assessing, planning and implementing resident needs ensuring quality resident care.
• Provides input and updates on resident care plan ensuring car plan is followed.
• Obtains, administers and monitors effectiveness of medications in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Communicates with medical staff to ensure prompt quality care and carries out physician orders as directed.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills required.
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Computer experience and proficiency required to maintain EMR.
• Job involves moderate to heavy physical work.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting weights in excess of 25 pounds.
