Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support our Primary Care Clinic. The LPN collects patient/family information, assists the RN with assessment, planning, and care delivery.

You will perform routine nursing tasks, administer medications, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Required state LPN license and 3 years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved program per state's requirements.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse license with Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Collects patient/family data to inform clinical needs and communicate with the health team.
  • Contributes to the patient plan of care based on identified needs.
  • Plans, prioritizes and organizes patient care tasks for efficient delivery.
  • Performs routine nursing tasks and medication administration under RN supervision.
  • Assists in modifying care plans as patient needs change.
  • Collaborates with RN to reassess and revise the plan of care.
  • Supports quality and safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Participates in recruitment activities and patient experience improvements.
