This position works for Hospice of Cincinnati’s Float Team FT night (7p-7:30a) every third weekend, with the following compensation and benefits:

  • $3/hr float
  • $4/hr night
  • $8000 night commitment bonus
  • $2500 sign-on bonus
  • Great benefits and mileage reimbursement

Hospice experience preferred, must be willing to drive to designated assignments in the field and float to multiple locations during the shift.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - STAFF: This role involves contributing to nursing assessments by collecting, reporting, and documenting data. You will participate in developing the nursing component of the care plan under the guidance of an RN, physician, dentist, podiatrist, or optometrist, and provide direct basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act. You will also evaluate client responses to care and document findings accurately and promptly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational nursing program. BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers. Licensed Practical Nurse certification through NAPNES (if graduated prior to 1988).
  • Experience: New graduates are considered.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Basic understanding of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
