Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our faith-based, nonprofit facility providing short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care. This on-site, part-time role offers a starting rate of $28.06 per hour.

Responsibilities include bedside nursing, reviewing discharge plans, coordinating with physicians, and assisting with diagnostics while ensuring resident safety and comfort. A compassionate team environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year experience as a staff nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other medical care facility with at least 6 months supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Periodically review the resident's discharge plan and participate in its updating as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports for submission to the Nursing Department by the end of your shift.
• Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments.
• Inform nursing personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members to the facility.
• Arrange for diagnostic and therapeutic services as ordered by the physician.
• Notify the resident's attending physician and family member when there is a change in the resident's condition.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:
