Description:

CIFC Health's Internal Medicine Department is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. You will collaborate with doctors, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest standard of care to our patients.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform clinical assessments of patients systematically, focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
2. Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.
3. Establish care priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of care and patient progress toward desired outcomes.
5. Identify patients' and significant others' learning needs and implement measures to meet them.
6. Coordinate interdisciplinary functions.
7. Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current RN license in Connecticut
• Previous experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Understanding of medical terminology and nursing protocols
• Experience with electronic medical records required; eClinical Works preferred
