Job summary

Mt Olympus Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). We offer a Nursing Tuition Reimbursement program up to 500 USD monthly pre-tax to support your schooling, with eligibility after 90 days and full/part-time status.

Qualifications

• Current Utah-Issued LPN license in good standing.
• Effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Order medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Prepare and administer treatments/medications as ordered by the physician.
• Notify physician and/or family members when there is a change in resident condition.
• Provide professional nursing care such as tube feedings, suction, catheterization, wound care as needed.
• Monitor seriously ill residents and advocate for patient care as per plan.
• Complete charting accurately and timely.

We care about our nurses and want to provide opportunities for them - which is why we have a "Nursing Tuition Reimbursement" program, where you can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to go to nursing school, OR get reimbursed for your nursing program. No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program.

Schedule

Our nurses are able to enjoy 12-hour shifts! Day shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM, while night shifts are from 6 PM to 6 AM

• Full Time nurses work 3 days a week
• Part Time nurses work 1-2 days a week
• PRN nurses work on a "as-needed/available" schedule

Requirements

Job Duties

• Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in the resident's condition
• Administering professional nursing practice services such as: tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary
• Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents
• Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other healthcare team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes
• Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner
