The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods in Sarasota, FL is hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM shift. The facility provides a 119-bed environment with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Walk-in interviews are welcome, and benefits include daily pay, health insurance, and a 401(k). You will perform admissions, med administration, and collaborate with the care team to maintain high standards of resident care.

Formación

• Active LPN license in Florida.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Admissions, discharge and transfers of residents.
• Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians.
• Medication administration.
• Follow infection control, emergencies, and other center policies.
• Collaborating with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes.
• Identifying and reporting all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy.
• Works under direct supervision in accordance with the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and nursing judgment.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care.
• Collects patient/resident data, makes observations, and reports pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident.
• According to state-specific regulations, implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• In accordance with state-specific regulations, directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e., monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information.

Some of your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities include:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed by the State or Multistate License
• CPR Certification required
• Two Years prior nursing experience preferred
